Sri Lanka Wins Toss, Sends Australia In To Bat

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and sent Australia in to bat Thursday in the deciding match of the best-of-three tri-series final.

Regular Australia captain Michael Clarke missed the match with a left hamstring injury, replaced as skipper by Shane Watson. Depending on the results of scans expected Thursday, Clarke is in doubt for the first part of Australia's limited-overs series in the West Indies.

Spinner Nathan Lyon was named to make his limited-overs international debut on his home ground, replacing the injured James Pattinson, who has a strained buttock muscle. Peter Forrest came in for Clarke.
