Mumbai, Nov 25: Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and seniormost player Sachin Tendulkar were given much needed rest as the selectors appointed Virender Sehwag captain of the 15-member squad for the first three ODIs against West Indies.
Another senior player Yuvraj Singh was also not in the squad as he has informed the board that he is not fully fit, a media release issued by the BCCI stated.
