OCA To Spend Rs 4.5 Crore For Nov 30 ODI

Orissa Cricket Association (OCA), the richest sporting body of the state will spend an estimated Rs 4.5 crore for the upcoming one-day international match between India and West Indies scheduled to be played here on November 30.

OCA also hopes to generate revenue of Rs 3.18 crore by selling the tickets for the stadium which now has an enhanced seating capacity of nearly 45,000.

Giving a relief to cricket lovers of the state, OCA also decided not to hike the price of stadium tickets this time which would remain same as was fixed during India-Sri Lanka match played here in December 2009.

OCA secretary Asirbad Behera said nearly 39,000 tickets would be available for the public while the remaining would be kept reserved as per BCCI norms.
