Scores of BlackBerry users faced problems in accessing the e-mail, messenger and other online services on their smartphones for the third day today, but service providers said they have no plans to waive the charges for the days services were disrupted.
BlackBerry handset users are still experiencing intermittent issues while using BlackBerry services caused by a core switch failure.
Various telecom operators like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance Communications and Idea Cellular offer different plans to provide Blackberry services.
Asked whether they would waive charges for the period during which subscribers have not been able to use the services, one of the leading operators Bharti Airtel said, “No plans on waiving rental as of now.”
