Mumbai, Oct 6: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Thursday while addressing a Dussehra rally here criticized anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare saying that by merely getting the Jan Lokpal bill passed he won't be able to eradicate corruption from India.
Addressing a massive Shiv Sena rally at Shivaji Park, Bal Thackeray said, despite the Jan Lokpal Bill, many 'big fish' will go away scot-free.
Bal Thackeray also quipped at Anna Hazare's fast saying there were several types of 'juice' at the fast at Ramlila Maidan.
A little while later, in Ralegan Siddhi, Anna Hazare reacted to Bal Thackeray's remark saying we should have the capacity to bear the insult. "Let them (Thackerays) say what they want, we will carry on with our work", said Hazare.
