Bollywood music-composer Anu Malik’s daughter Anmol, who has penned her first song ‘Graduation’, says, the film industry welcomes newer talent with open hands.
With music in her genes, Anmol recorded her first song at a young age of eight for David Dhawan’s ‘Biwi No.1’ and then for J P Dutta’s ‘Umrao Jaan’, when she was 15.
“The film industry is open to newer talents. Everyone, be it a star kid or non-star kid, all are welcomed here. There is space for everyone. It is your talent that matters the most,” Anmol told PTI in an interview.
Anmol, who has sung the hit number—‘Talli Main Talli Ho Gai’ from the movie ‘Ugly aur Pagli’, is set to follow her father’s footsteps, as for her new song, Anmol has composed the music, written the lyrics and has also sung.
