Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare has said that the Gang of Four has been indulging in character assassination of his team members in order to sow disunity in the movement for Jan Lokpal Bill.
Writing in his blog on Monday, Anna Hazare said: " Please do not react again and again on any or repeated allegations made by the ‘gang of four’ (and their agents from various fields). People are wise enough to understand what the truth is. Thus it becomes futile on their part. Corruption has driven people to their brink. People are weary of the rising corruption level. That is the reason the people of this country are unhappy with the present government."
Hazare also threatened a stronger movement if the Jan Lokpal Bill was not passed. " If the Government goes back on its word and refrains from passing the Janlokpal Bill then it will have to face much more damage than they are facing now."
