Congress MP from Moradabad and former Team India captain Mohammed Azharuddin's son Ayazuddin was critically injured in a road accident whereas Azharuddin's Ajmal-ur-Rahman died in the same mishap here early today.
19-year-old Ayazuddin was speeding on a sports bike with his cousin Rahman,16, on Outer Ring Road when he lost control and fell down near Poppalaguda.
Ayazuddin and Rahman were rushed to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills around 9 am in critical condition, where Rahman succumbed to injuries. Ayazuddin is still in critical condition and is kept on ventilators.
Mohammed Azharuddin, who is presently in London, is rushing back home.
