It was Shyam Nandan Prasad's last evening walk with his three year old grandson.
On Thursday evening, as he was taking a stroll in Indirapuram's famous Swarna Jayanti Park, he saw a couple in an objectionable position inside the park.
As Shyam Nandan, a retired regional manager of National Insurance Corporation, asked them to move out, the male whipped out a knife and stabbed him to death, even as the kid watched this in horror.
The killer rushed out of the park to take his bike, but as the security guard asked him for the parking slip, he fled in desperation leaving his bike, presently in possession of the police, said Raghuvir Lal, SSP Ghaziabad.
