Doraiswamy, an alcoholic man residing in Mumbai's Dindoshi locality, came home drunk after midnight on Tuesday and killed his wife Putai with a big stone, his 12-year-old son Ramu, the lone eyewitness told police.
The teenager disclosed that he was sleeping inside the room, when he suddenly awoke with liquid drops falling on his body.
He found his mother lying in a pool of blood inside the room and his father throwing a big stone outside the house.
As neighbours raised a hue and cry, Doraiswamy fled.
