Dehradun, Aug 26: A CBI notice was today served on Balkrishna, a close aide of yoga guru Ramdev, asking him to present his original documents related to his education before the probe agency tomorrow.
The notice was served to Balkrishna this morning at Patanjali Yogpeeth through Kankhal police station, official sources said here.
Balkrishna has been asked to come along with his original educational documents before CBI in its office here tomorrow.
Patanjali Yogpeeth officials in Haridwar confirmed that the notice has been received, but said they have no idea whether Balkrishna would himself go to CBI office with documents or someone else would deliver them.
The stay on the arrest of Balkrishna, who is facing charges of using fake educational degrees for procuring a passport, expires on August 29, the date fixed by the Uttarakhand High Court for next hearing.
