Five youths drowned in Yamuna river on Sunday evening while they were taking bath, police said.
The youths, residents of Swaroop Nagar, had come to take bath in Yamuna near Burari.
According to a senior police official, one of the youths went into deep waters at around 5 pm. Others rushed to his help but they were also drowned.
Locals informed the police and the fire brigade, which later fished out the bodies.
